One person injured in three-vehicle crash in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS – A three-vehicle smash-up on Westsyde Road in Kamloops this morning sent one person to hospital.

RCMP say two pickup trucks and a sedan were involved in the collision at about 9 a.m., Dec. 28, at Westsyde Road and Collingwood Drive.

One of the pickups ended up at the bottom of an embankment and came to rest against a fence. The other pickup and the car remained on the road but were severely damaged.

One person was taken to Royal Inland Hospital with minor injuries, police say.

The road was slippery at the time of the crash.

RCMP continue to investigate. No word if any of the drivers will be ticketed.
