Report of violent confrontation in West Vancouver home before man’s death:police

WEST VANCOUVER, B.C. – A 55-year-old man has been arrested after what police are calling a suspicious death in a West Vancouver home.

Several charges are being considered, and the victim is a 42-year-old man.

Police say they received information that a violent confrontation had occurred at a residence in the tony British Properties.

The suspect was taken into custody early Sunday with the help of the Vancouver Police Department, as part of an agreement to investigate suspicious deaths in West Vancouver.

Police say the home was secured for a forensic examination and that the investigation is at an early stage.
