Corrective to June 17 story on AIDS event visas
MONTREAL – In a June 17 story on visa delays hampering a Montreal AIDS conference, The Canadian Press erroneously said Iwatutu Joyce Adewole received a six-day visa to attend the event.
In fact, Adewole’s visa was for a longer period and the shorter length of time was referring to a short-term visa she received for an event in Switzerland.
