TORONTO – The Toronto Blue Jays activated veteran shortstop Jose Reyes from the 15-day disabled list Monday.

The Blue Jays also optioned infielder Munenori Kowasaki to triple-A Buffalo.

Reyes, 31, appeared in three games with Buffalo on a medical rehabilitation assignment, hitting .364 with two runs-batted in. Reyes went on the disabled list with a fractured left rib April 28.
