Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Up two cents, or 0.78 per cent, to $2.58 on 26.1 million shares.
Veresen Inc. (TSX:VSN). Oil and gas. Up six cents, or 0.32 per cent, to $18.57 on 14.3 million shares.
Carpathian Gold Inc. (TSX:CPN). Miner. Unchanged at 2.5 cents on 10.8 million shares.
Turquoise Hill Resources Ltd. (TSX:TRQ). Miner. Up eight cents, or 1.49 per cent, to $5.46 on 8.1 million shares.
Element Financial Corp. (TSX:EFN). Financial Services. Down 19 cents, or 1.01 per cent, to $18.61 on 6.4 million shares.

Bank of Nova Scotia (TSX:BNS). Bank. Up 83 cents, or 1.29 per cent, to $65.40 on 5.8 million shares. The bank reported second-quarter net income of $1.8 billion, or $1.42 per share, relatively flat with a year earlier when earnings per share were $1.39. Net income attributable to common shareholders was $1.73 billion versus from $1.7 billion a year ago. Revenue grew to $5.94 billion from $5.73 billion.
