Witnesses sought after teen reports assault at Riverside Park
KAMLOOPS – Police will need help figuring out who grabbed and fondled a teenage girl at Riverside Park Monday because she didn't get a chance to see her alleged attacker.
At about 5:30 p.m. July 28 the girl was near the water park washrooms at Riverside Park when she says an unknown man came up from behind, put his hand over her mouth and fondled her, according to an RCMP press release.
She told police he stopped when a woman exited the washroom. The woman saw what was happening and yelled at the man who ran away.
RCMP would like the witness to step forward along with any others in the park at the time of the incident and contact the Kamloops detachment at 250-828-3000.
-This story was corrected at 3:29 p.m. to change the photo of the washrooms at Riverside Park.

Sad to say this would be unlikely to help. Life with no chance to be let out in public would be safer for society.

This picture is not the washrooms by the water park. If you want to jog someones memory of something they might have seen such as a man running from the washroom area, then post the right picture.
