Pleasant Valley Road construction starts next week

VERNON – Construction on Pleasant Valley Road (32 Ave to 36 Ave) and 35 Ave (23 St to west of 24 St) will be starting the week of April 11 and continuing for approximately four months. 

The road will be closed for the duration of construction but access to homes and businesses within the construction area will be possible.

Traffic control will be in effect and detour routes posted in advance of closures. 

This is the final phase of road and utility reconstruction along Pleasant Valley Road, and includes a new roundabout at 35 Ave and Pleasant Valley Road intersection, road reconstruction, bike lanes, replacement of water, storm, sanitary sewer and first phase of the 35 Ave multi-use path.
