Skrillex, Ice Cube part of epic 2016 Centre of Gravity music lineup

KELOWNA – The music lineup for Kelowna’s biggest beach party this year features some of the biggest names in hip hop and electronic dance music.

Skrillex, Ice Cube, Afrojack, Showtek, Machine Gun Kelly, Kid Ink, Destructo, Kap Slap, Party Favor, Nghtmre, Sleepy Tom, SNBRN, Stickybuds, Vinai, Zaxx, Conro, Eminence, Slynk, Swede Dreams, Whipped Cream, Auxis, Bag-O-Beetz, Bdice, Case of the Mondays, David Stone, Deepsounds, Disero, Doprah Spinfree and many more have confirmed they will perform live in Kelowna between July 8 and 10.

This will be the ninth year in a row Centre of Gravity has taken over downtown Kelowna with exhibitions in adrenaline sports, live music and two days of parties.

Like last year, which had tens of thousands of people go through the gates, there will be an adrenaline zone where you can practice your freestyle aerial skills by jumping off a high platform onto an airbag, zorb soccer and other activities. There will also be basketball, beach volleyball, freestyle motocross, bmx, skateboarding and wakeboarding.

Centre of Gravity takes place in Kelowna’s City Park with tickets going on sale April 15 through the Wet Ape Centre of Gravity website.
