West Virginia State Parks giving discount to military, vets
BECKLEY, W.Va. – West Virginia State Parks are offering a discount to veterans and military personnel for a couple of weeks next month.
The parks will give a 50 per cent discount to veterans and military personnel at some lodges and cabins between Nov. 1 and Nov. 15.
The Register-Herald reports the discount is available at Beech Fork, Blackwater Falls, Bluestone, Cacapon Resort, Canaan Valley Resort, Cass Scenic Railroad company house rentals, Chief Logan Lodge, Hawks Nest, Holly River, Lost River, North Bend, Pipestem Resort, Twin Falls Resort, Tygart Lake, Watoga, Cabwaylingo, Greenbrier and Kumbrabow.
Make reservations online by using the promotion code VETERAN or by calling the parks. Proof of military service is required at check-in.
