Canadian rocker Sebastian Bach letting fans attend wedding reception for $300

TORONTO – Canadian-raised rocker Sebastian Bach and Suzanne Le are inviting fans to attend their wedding reception — for a price.

Rockbar Theater in San Jose, Calif., is offering “limited” tickets to the couple’s Aug. 22 “Rock N Roll Wedding Extravaganza” for $300 apiece.

Bach, who grew up in Peterborough, Ont., before becoming lead singer of the New Jersey glam-metal band Skid Row, is marrying for the second time.

The 47-year-old used his Facebook account to clarify Tuesday night that the couple’s wedding would, in fact, be a “private family affair” not open to the public, and that the party at Rockbar would stand as the post-wedding reception.

Le, a Hawaiian beauty-pageant contestant, added on Twitter that the couple had been away on tour and was not involved in setting ticket prices for the event.

She continued that she and Bach were “not charging people to our wedding” and added that only the venue and a charity of the couple’s choosing stood to profit.

“Let’s rock! We are looking forward to having a great time,” Bach’s post read. “Come out and party with us on our special day!

“I apologize for the confusion,” he added, promising “exact details” soon. “Hope to see you there … on the best day of my life!”

For those interested in attending the reception, the website notes a dress code: “rockstar chic.”
