PORTLAND, Maine – Hillary Clinton is getting a campaign boost from a member of the 1980s “Brat Pack.”
Actress Molly Ringwald is in Maine on Tuesday to support the Democratic presidential candidate with stops that include a voter registration drive.
The “Breakfast Club” star is making several stops around Portland.
Those include a meet-and-greet at a Portland coffee house, along with a registration drive at the University of Southern Maine in Gorham. She’ll round out the day with a “Hillary Happy Hour” event.
The 48-year-old Ringwald was one of the “Brat Pack” group of popular young actors in the 1980s along with Emilio Estevez, Anthony Michael Hall, Ally Sheedy and others.
