Canada’s Biyarslanov wins boxing gold at Pan Ams in light welterweight final
OSHAWA, Ont. – Canada’s Arthur Biyarslanov won boxing gold on Friday at the Pan American Games.
Biyarslanov, from Toronto, won the men’s light welterweight final with a split decision over Cuba’s Yasnier Toledo.
Ringside judges scored the bout 28-29, 29-28, 29-28 in Biyarslanov’s favour.
