Police looking for $40,000 travel trailer stolen in Lake Country

LAKE COUNTRY – RCMP are hoping the public can help track down a travel trailer stolen from a Lake Country business last weekend.

Police say a customer dropped off the fifth wheel for repairs at Voyager RV in the 9200 block of Highway 97 and it was reported stolen on Monday, May 16.

The cream coloured, 28-foot, 2014 Jayco Eagle travel trailer — worth about $40,000 — was likely stolen sometime late Saturday night or early Sunday morning, according to a RCMP media release.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Const. Dave Caley with the Lake Country RCMP at 250-766-2288. Remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, leaving a tip online at www.crimestoppers.net or by texting your tip to CRIMES (274637) ktown.
