Man shot, killed on east side of Anchorage
ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Anchorage police say a man was shot and killed on the city’s east side.
Dispatchers shortly after 10:30 p.m. Monday took a call of shots fired on Taku Drive just south of the Glenn Highway.
Responding officers found a man near the road who had been shot in the upper body. He was pronounced dead.
The man’s name and age were not immediately released.
Homicide detectives are seeking witnesses in the shooting.
