Sex, jokes and pizza: Ike Barinholtz book coming in 2017

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Ike Barinholtz is the latest funny person with a book deal.

Grand Central Publishing announced Monday that it had acquired a collection of humorous essays by the writer-performer whose credits include “The Mindy Project” and “MADtv.” The book, currently untitled, is scheduled for fall 2017. In a statement issued through Grand Central, Barinholtz promised “piping hot takes” on everything from sex to pizza.

Amy Poehler, Mindy Kaling and Tina Fey are among the comedians to have bestsellers in recent years. Barinholtz is starring with Poehler and Fey in the film comedy “Sisters,” which comes out in December.
