Thousands of Jehovah’s Witnesses to come knocking in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS – The Tournament Capital is opening its doors to Jehovah's Witnesses — lots of them.

The "Remain Loyal to Jehovah!" convention, put on by Jehovah's Witnesses, is set to take place June 24 at the Sandman Centre. In a media release, Brad Bestward, 'media service overseer' for the Kamloops convention, says they are expecting 3,000 people to attend.

The group's website says everyone is welcome, no admission will be charged and there will be no collections.

The convention's program includes a music video presentation, several songs, readings and closing prayers.

Baptism is also being offered at the three-day convention.
