Man charged with attempted murder after fight with Kamloops teen
KAMLOOPS – A man involved in a brutal fight on the North Shore, that has left an 18 year old brain dead at Royal Inland Hospital, has been charged with attempted murder.
Kristopher Teichrieb, 39, is in custody and expected to appear in Kamloops Provincial Court on Thursday, June 23, for a bail hearing.
The charges stem from a fight on Holt Street early yesterday morning, June 19. In a press release, RCMP says officers responded to a home after reports of a fight. A man looked out his window, saw another man in his driveway, and when he approached the man a fight ensued.
Teichrieb owned the home on Holt Street.
The man who was in the homeowner’s driveway was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.
