NewsAlert: Statscan report shows Canada in recession in first half of 2015
OTTAWA – Statistics Canada reports GDP fell in second quarter, indicating economy was in recession in first half of 2015. Canada’s gross domestic product shrank 0.5 per cent on an annualized basis, somewhat less than estimates of a 1.0 per cent decline.
