22Q Entertainment said Thursday that both women have signed on to John S. Anastasi’s “Would You Still Love Me…” Nona Gerard will direct the play at New World Stages. Previews begin Sept. 26.
Turner is the star of films like “Romancing The Stone” and “Prizzi’s Honor,” while recording star Cox has been on Broadway in “Jekyll & Hyde” and “Aida.” In the play, Turner plays the mother of a woman considering gender reassignment surgery and Cox plays a doctor.
