An apparent hacker has used the Twitter account of the CEO and co-founder of Oculus to announce a new head of the company.

Screengrabs on tech blogs of tweets posted on Oculus chief Brendan Iribe’s account by the alleged hacker show him announcing a little-followed Twitter user as the company’s new CEO Wednesday night. He also changed Iribe’s Twitter bio to read, “im not testing ya security im just havin a laugh”.

The hack was fairly brief. By Thursday morning, the hacker’s tweets had been removed and Iribe’s bio was restored.

Oculus is a maker of virtual reality headsets and is owned by Facebook. That company’s founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, had his Twitter account hacked earlier this month.

Oculus and Facebook haven’t immediately responded to a request for comment.
