Kamloops man wreaks havoc at Penticton car dealership
A Kamloops man was busted for crashing an Audi into a Penticton car dealership.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. yesterday, Oct. 18, according to an RCMP press release.
The driver, a 42-year-old Kamloops man, ran a red light where Highway 97 meets Green Mountain Road in Penticton.
The Audi travelled northbound on Highway 97 for a short period before the driver lost control and hit parked cars at the Skaha Ford dealership.
The collision caused "significant damage" to several parked vehicles, RCMP said.

First responders found a lone man suffering minor injuries. No other injuries were reported.
The suspect is now facing charges of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, impaired driving, driving, without a licence and driving without insurance.
“Thankfully, no one was seriously injured as a result of this incident,” Const. James Grandy said in the release.
This isn't the first time somebody crashed into the Skaha Ford dealership – something similar happened in 2017.
