The police are after a Kamloops man and he may not even know it

Kamloops RCMP officers are on the lookout for a middle-aged man who is wanted on a warrant because he got caught driving while prohibited.

However, the subject of the warrant – 55-year-old Douglas David Werth from Kamloops – may not realize the police are looking for him, according to a Kamloops RCMP press release.

“The warrant was issued in October and it’s possible he is unaware that he is wanted,” Cpl. Crystal Evelyn said in the release. “Our hope is that Douglas, or someone he knows, sees this release and contacts police so the warrant can be executed accordingly.”

Werth is described as a 5’10 Caucasian weighing around 150 pounds. He has blonde hair, hazel eyes and a scar on his forehead and above his right eye.

Anybody who wants to help the Kamloops RCMP find their man can call the detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2022-25715.
