Kamloops man charged with theft of pickup truck

A 35-year-old Kamloops man has a date with a judge today in connection with a pickup truck that was stolen earlier this month.

Officers arrested the suspect in the 900 block of Jasper Avenue in Kamloops, Feb. 14, after finding a green Dodge pickup truck reported stolen from Pinantan the previous week, according to an RCMP media release.

RCMP say the suspect was held in custody and the Crown approved a count of possession of stolen property the next day. He had a bail hearing and was remanded in custody.

Kamloops resident Mark Aaron Schulz, 35, is scheduled to appear in court today, Feb. 18.
