Disappearance of Merritt man now a criminal investigation
The disappearance of a 24-year-old Merritt man is now considered suspicious, according to RCMP.
Miguel Mack has been missing for more than three weeks. He was last seen Feb. 27, and reported missing on March 3.
“Investigators, having had the opportunity to review all pieces of the investigation, can now confirm that Mr. Mack’s disappearance is being investigated as suspicious and involves criminality,” states a news release from the RCMP’s Southeast District issued today, March 23.
Family members organized a search for Mack, aided by RCMP who used dogs and drones, to comb the Merritt area with no success.
