Country star Dwight Yoakam coming to Okanagan

OKANAGAN – Dust off that hat and shine your cowboy boots because multiple Grammy award winner and country music star Dwight Yoakam is coming to Kelowna.

Dwight Yoakam and special guests Meghan Patrick and Washboard Union will play an all ages show at Prospera Place on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016.

Yoakam has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide, according to a media release. He has 12 gold albums, five of which topped Billboards' Country Albums chart.

His latest album, Second Hand Heart, was released last year.

Tickets, which start at $49.50 plus service charges, are available at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 22 at the Prospera Place Box Office, by phone at 250-762-5050 or at www.selectyourtickets.com.
