NORTH VANCOUVER, B.C. – A 51-year-old woman and 55-year-old man are unhurt after getting lost and spending the night on a Mountain in North Vancouver, B.C.
Svetlana and Yevgeny Rudakov set out Tuesday on a four-hour hike from the Mount Seymour parking lot but North Shore Rescue spokesman Bruce Moffat says the couple took a couple wrong turns and got lost.
He says they also left some of their equipment in their car.
Search manager Peter Haigh says the couple made contact with rescuers by phone Wednesday morning.
He says the rescue was delayed three hours because the hikers kept moving.
The couple was found in an area along the Indian Arm near Elsay Lake and were unhurt. (News 1130,CKNW)
