‘Will and Grace’ star Sean Hayes adds San Francisco to his ‘An Act of God’ show

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Sean Hayes has added a stop in San Francisco for his “An Act of God” show after Los Angeles.

Producers said Thursday that the former “Will and Grace” star will play God Almighty at the SHN Golden Gate Theatre in San Francisco, for three weeks beginning March 29.

He also has a six-week stand in Los Angeles from Jan. 30-March 13 at the Ahmanson Theatre. The divine part was filled this summer by Jim Parsons on Broadway.

The 90-minute play is a chance for the Almighty to set the record straight — like that he doesn’t hate gays and he can’t help anyone sing better — and update his 10 Commandments.

It was written by David Javerbaum, former writer and executive producer of “The Daily Show.”
