Man who flipped car saved 2 days later when workers see foot

WILLIAMSBURG, Ohio – Ohio officials say a man who flipped his vehicle into a wooded area was found two days later when transportation workers removing a deer from the side of a road saw a foot sticking out of a window of a car.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports (http://cin.ci/2eP1wUF ) the state Department of Transportation says 38-year-old Kory Chambers’ car overturned on a curve along state Route 133 on Saturday night in Williamsburg. The car struck a tree and rolled.

State officials say two transportation workers found Chambers on Monday morning and called 911.

Ohio State Highway Patrol Lt. Wayne Price says tall weeds concealed the car. He says Chambers was airlifted to a hospital and remains in stable condition.

An investigation is ongoing. A cause hasn’t been determined.
