DENVER – Investigators say a woman was driving drunk when she hit and killed 38 sheep on a county road in southern Colorado.

The Colorado State Patrol says 47-year-old Lynn Ann Michel is facing several charges, including driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident, after Tuesday’s crash in Rio Grande County.
