20-year-old Honduras man drowns in Massachusetts lake
SAUGUS, Mass. – Authorities say a 20-year-old man from Honduras drowned while swimming with family in Massachusetts on the Fourth of July.
The Essex District Attorney’s office identified the man Thursday as Uwaldo Erazo.
Officials say Erazo had been living with a cousin in Lynn.
The district attorney’s office says Erazo and two cousins were trying to swim to an island in a lake at Breakheart Reservation in Saugus Wednesday when he went under.
Officials say Erazo’s body was later pulled from the water and he was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
