
Wine festival wraps up with Cropped event in Penticton
PENTICTON – The Fall Wine Festival wraps up with Cropped in Penticton this weekend.
The two day event takes place Friday, Sept. 7 and Saturday, Sept. 8 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre.
More than 80 wineries are represented along with a farmers market, creating a unique experience blending wine and local foods. A Pinot bar provides different styles of Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir, provided by the sensory lab at Okanagan College. Onsite seminars provide an introduction to dairy cheeses while live music plays in the background. There will be an onsite wine store as well,
