Aurcana posts 3rd-quarter loss of $6.5 million

VANCOUVER – VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ Aurcana Corp. (AUNFF) on Monday reported a loss of $6.5 million in its third quarter.

The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had a loss of 8 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for asset impairment costs, were 6 cents per share.

The silver, copper and zinc mining company posted revenue of $6.8 million in the period.

In the final minutes of trading on Monday, the company’s shares hit 7 cents. A year ago, they were trading at 27 cents.
