Fox News host Greta Van Susteren is writing social media guide

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Fox News host Greta Van Susteren is working on a book about social media.

Van Susteren has a deal with Simon & Schuster for a guide on everything from building and engaging with an online audience to “how to deflect the cranks,” the publisher said Thursday. The book is currently untitled and scheduled for Fall 2017.

In a statement issued through Simon & Schuster, Van Susteren praised social media for allowing her to connect with viewers in “an unprecedented way.” Van Susteren’s Facebook fan page has more than 800,000 “likes” and her Twitter feed, @greta, has more than 630,000 followers.

In 2002, Van Susteren and Elaine Lafferty co-wrote “My Turn at the Bully Pulpit: Straight Talk About the Things That Drive Me Nuts.”
