First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM). Miner. Up 31 cents, or 6.44 per cent, to $5.12 on 6.2 million shares.
Encana Corp. (TSX:ECA). Oil and gas. Down 36 cents, or 5.23 per cent, to $6.52 on five million shares. Encana announced an up to six-month delay in the US$900-million sale of its DJ Basin oil and gas assets in Colorado to a group led by the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board.
Yamana Gold Inc. (TSX:YRI). Miner. Down seven cents, or 2.66 per cent, to $2.56 on five million shares.
Long Run Exploration Ltd. (TSX:LRE). Oil and gas. Unchanged at 37 cents on 4.3 million shares.
Teck Resources Ltd. (TSX:TCK.B). Miner. Up 29 cents, or 6.08 per cent, to $5.06 on 4.1 million shares.
Eldorado Gold Corp. (TSX:ELD). Miner. Down eight cents, or 1.80 per cent, to $4.36 on 3.7 million shares.

Telus Corp. (TSX:T). Communication services. Up 22 cents, or 0.57 per cent, to $38.67 on 968,719 shares. Company president and CEO Darren Entwistle recently invested nearly $10 million in Telus stock. The Vancouver-based company says Entwistle directly purchased 79,000 shares on Dec. 17 at an average price of $37.76 and his family trust purchased 180,000 shares at an average price of $37.86.
