Vernon roadwork at Alexis Park Drive and 42 Avenue
The City of Vernon is upgrading the crossing at Alexis Park Drive and 42 Avenue.
Work includes installing pedestrian activated flashing amber warning lights, new signage and a bulbed sidewalk on the east side of Alexis Park to bring pedestrians into the line of sight of drivers.
The work is anticipated to be completed by the end of November.
Single-lane alternating traffic will be in effect.
Please be patient and obey all signs and flaggers.
