First Quantum Minerals Ltd. (TSX:FM). Miner. Down seven cents, or 1.35 per cent, to $5.11 on 5.2 million shares.
Data Group Ltd. (TSX:DGI). Business services. Unchanged at two cents on 4.5 million shares.
Barrick Gold Corp. (TSX:ABX). Miner. Up 57 cents, or 5.57 per cent, to $10.81 on 3.9 million shares.
Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Unchanged at $1.34 on 3.9 million shares.
Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX:BTE). Oil and gas. Up eight cents, or 1.79 per cent, to $4.56 on 3.9 million shares.

Suncor Energy Inc. (TSX:SU). Oil and gas. Down 44 cents, or 1.23 per cent, to $35.28 on three million shares. The hostile takeover battle between oilsands giant Suncor Energy and its target, Canadian Oil Sands (down 37 cents, or 4.47 per cent, to $7.90 on 2.9 million shares), could be resolved soon, with both companies revving up their rhetoric ahead of a Friday deadline. Suncor said it will move on to other opportunities if, by Friday evening, it does not receive “substantial support” for its $4.3-billion, all-stock takeover bid.
