Former UFC champion (Rowdy) Ronda Rousey to host ‘Saturday Night Live’

Former UFC champion (Rowdy) Ronda Rousey will host “Saturday Night Live” on Jan. 23.

The NBC show made the announcement via Twitter.

“Beyond excited/nervous/honored to host @nbcsnl #jan23rd hopefully you’ll be watching and laughing either at or with me that night????” Rousey said via Instagram.

Rousey, who lost her bantamweight title to Holly Holm in November, is no stranger to the world of entertainment. The former judo Olympic bronze medallist has appeared in such films as “The Expendables 3,” Entourage” and “Furious 7.”

She is currently involved in a remake of “Road House.”

SNL also announced that actor Adam Driver, who plays Kylo Ren in the new “Star Wars” movie, will host the Jan. 16 show. The musical guest will be Chris Stapleton.
