Baby, three others taken to hospital after rollover near Vernon

VERNON – The hunt is on for the driver of a car who may have caused a rollover on Highway 6 between Vernon and Lumby Friday afternoon.

Four people, including an infant, were taken to Vernon Jubilee Hospital with minor injuries after the car they were in ended up on its roof in the ditch, according to Global Okanagan.

RCMP say the driver tried to avoid a head-on crash with another vehicle which crossed the centre line.

The driver of the suspect vehicle didn’t stop.

Police don’t have a lot to go on, not even any details about suspect vehicle or driver.

Regardless, RCMP are asking anyone with information on the crash or the driver that took off to call their nearest detachment or Crime Stoppers.
