BRUSSELS – Belgian authorities say two men are being held who have possible links to suspects in the November attacks in Paris in which extremists killed 130 people.
The federal prosecutor’s office said in a statement Thursday that a Belgian national identified as Zakaria J. and a Moroccan national named Mustafa E. were being held over links to different suspects in the attacks.
The two were picked up on Wednesday during police raids on the Brussels neighbourhood of Molenbeek, where several extremists have lived or stayed. No weapons or explosives were found during the searches.
