Shock rocker Marilyn Manson falls ill on stage during Saskatchewan concert
SASKATOON – A person at a Calgary concert venue says Marilyn Manson’s upcoming show is still on despite the shock rocker’s recent collapse in Saskatchewan.
Manson was performing at TCU Place in Saskatoon on Wednesday night when audience members say he started vomiting.
Liam Richards, who was in the front row, says the show was good, but Manson was obviously sick near the end and had to be carried off the stage.
Richards says the band finished the song and then the house lights came up.
The concert promoter could not be reached for comment, but TCU Place CEO Bob Korol says it’s his understanding that Manson went back to his hotel to rest.
As of Thursday afternoon, Manson’s show at the Stampede Corral in Calgary on Friday night was still scheduled to go ahead.
