NEW YORK, N.Y. – Nike co-founder Phil Knight’s memoir will be called “Shoe Dog” and is coming out in April.
Scribner announced the title Thursday for Knight’s book and set an April 26 release. The memoir, first announced last year, will cover the early years of Nike, when Knight in 1964 started what became the iconic company through a handshake deal with his track coach at the University of Oregon, Bill Bowerman.
The publisher is billing Knight’s book as “candid, humble, gutsy, and wry.”
