Cardero posts fourth-quarter loss of $1.9 million

VANCOUVER – VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ Cardero Resource Corp. (CDYCF) on Friday reported a loss of $1.9 million in its fiscal fourth quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had a loss of 10 cents.

For the year, the company reported that its loss narrowed to $9 million, or 72 cents per share.

In the final minutes of trading on Friday, the company’s shares hit 7 cents. A year ago, they were trading at 38 cents.
