Single winning ticket sold in Ontario for $60-million Lotto Max jackpot

TORONTO – There is one winning ticket for the $60-million jackpot in Friday night’s Lotto Max draw.

It was purchased in the Owen Sound, Ont., area.

Thirty-three MaxMillions prizes of $1-million each were available in the draw, and 15 of them were won.

Eleven MaxMillions prizes were claimed by single tickets, and four others will be shared among eight ticketholders who will each get $500,000.

The Lotto Max grand prize was last won Dec. 25, when a ticket worth $60-million was held by someone in Mississauga, Ont.

Note to readers: This is a corrected story: An earlier version said 13 MaxMillions prizes were won, when in fact 15 were won
