VANCOUVER – VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ Merus Labs International Inc. (MSLI) on Thursday reported a loss of $686,000 in its fiscal first quarter.

The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had a loss of 1 cent per share.

The drugmaker posted revenue of $11.9 million in the period.

In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, the company’s shares hit $1.32. A year ago, they were trading at $1.67.
