Broadcaster George Stroumboulopoulos to speak at TRU International Days in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS – Broadcaster George Stroumboulopoulos hosts a panel discussion at Thompson Rivers University this spring.

The well known TV personality will be part of the university’s annual International Days week in March.

Stroumboulopoulos has had a varied career in Canadian broadcasting, which included an early stint in Kelowna as a radio DJ before moving to Toronto where he’s was on MuchMusic, CBC Radio and TV, and most recently Hockey Night in Canada.

The theme of this year’s international event will be the UN’s sustainability goals. The panel discussion will be March 7 in the university’s Grand Hall from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are free.
