Don’t try to use the Red Bridge for awhile
KAMLOOPS – The Red Bridge in Kamloops will be closed to vehicle traffic while repairs are underway, starting Monday Sept. 15.
The closure will continue until the middle of October. Motorists will be able to get to their destination over the South Thompson River via the Overlander Bridge and Highway 5.
The bridge will remain open to pedestrians and bicycles, but some delays will be necessary.
The work will be complete before the planned repairs to the Overlander Bridge.
