KAMLOOPS – The Homelessness Partnering Strategy (HPS) is a federal initiative aimed at preventing and reducing homelessness by providing direct support and funding to communities across Canada.

A Call for Proposals is now open to allocate approximately $1.1 million in funding to projects in Kamloops that follow the Housing First model or provide support services to homeless individuals and families (or those at imminent risk of homelessness). Proposals will be evaluated and awarded by community through the HomeFree Collective.

An information session will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, 11:00 am, at Parkview Activity Centre (500 McDonald Avenue), to review the application process and HPS criteria.

The submission deadline for proposals is 12:00 noon on Thursday, February 16, 2017.
