
Impaired driver identified after burger stop
PENTICTON – A 38 year old Vaseux Lake resident faces criminal code charges for the impaired operation of a motor vehicle last week.
Cpl. Don Wrigglesworth says an impaired driver was reported after going through the White Spot Triple O’s drive through on Eckhardt Avenue around 9:25 p.m. Wednesday, Feb.1.
The female driver, who was subject to a previously issued Immediate Roadside Prohibition, was found to be three times over the legal blood alcohol limit and was arrested.
Her rental vehicle was also impounded.
