Timmins Gold profit rises to US$36 million in 2012

VANCOUVER – Timmins Gold Corp. (TSX:TMM) says its annual profit grew to US$36 million last year, including US$12 million in the fourth quarter. The 12-month earnings amounted to 25 cents per share, including nine cents per share for the three months ended Dec. 31. Revenue from gold and silver sales was US$156.2 million in 2012, including $40.6 million in the fourth quarter. The company’s main holding is the San Francisco open pit mine in Sonora, Mexico.
