Search for missing 18-year-old Mission, B.C., mom Rachel Pernosky ends tragically
SURREY, B.C. – The body of a missing 18-year-old Mission, B.C., woman has been found.
Homicide investigators confirm the body of Rachel Pernosky was discovered yesterday but they have not said where.
Police expect to release more information later today.
The young mother vanished Saturday from her Mission home, and police issued a news release two days later saying her disappearance was very concerning for them, her friends and her family.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation team has taken over the case.
There’s no word yet how Pernosky died or whether there are any suspects in the case.
